OVERVIEW
The Digital Health & Wellness Platform is a mobile-focused wellness solution designed to help users track fitness, nutrition, sleep, and mental well-being in one centralized app.
Many users struggle with fragmented health data, information overload, and maintaining consistent tracking habits. This project aims to simplify health management by offering an intuitive interface, automated tracking, and personalized insights that support long-term motivation and healthier routines.

PLANNING
The planning phase began with user research through surveys and interviews focused on digital health habits. Research showed that most users were young adults with busy schedules who primarily tracked fitness but struggled with consistency, time constraints, and trust in health information.
A primary user persona, Alex Carter, was developed to represent professionals balancing demanding work schedules with wellness goals. Key insights emphasized the need for automation, goal reminders, and an all-in-one dashboard.
Based on these findings, the platform was planned as a mobile-first experience with automated tracking, personalized insights, and minimal manual input to reduce friction.
WIREFRAMES AND PROTOTYPES
REFLECTION
This project reinforced the importance of designing for real-life constraints such as time, motivation, and cognitive load. Translating research insights into a simplified user flow helped ensure the product remained practical and user-focused.
One key challenge was balancing comprehensive health tracking with interface simplicity. Prioritizing automation and personalization helped resolve this tension.
If revisiting this project, I would explore deeper integrations with wearable devices and expand data visualization for long-term progress tracking. Overall, this project strengthened my skills in UX research, user flows, wireframing, and prototype-driven design decisions.
